Hi David,

I guess I did already get that. When I said I was having trouble
getting my head around it, it's the fact that we (here) have moved on
beyond the limitations of SOMism, so the constraints they placed on
empiricism or already historical, discounted if you like, before we
even start. So "radical" is just an old label for what I'd consider
"normal", anyway ...

Interesting you use the phrase
"What we might call an illusion is real ..."

You may have seen me use that phrase many times before in the blog.
About Libet and free-will being "illusory"
About Wegner and consciousness being "illusory"

Illusory in the sense on not being quite what they might first appear,
not being simple / tangible / physical, not having simple causal
relationships and explanations - but totally real, nevertheless.
