SA, OK, then you too are a dumb ass. If you went to the polls and voted for yourself or Robert Pirsig or None of the Above, you would make a statement about the failures of the system. If lots of people did this it would be meaningful. But to shirk your civic responsibility and then pretend that it is noble is stupid, lazy and deceitful. It has occurred to me that one of the problems is that for some reason people have an inner need to vote for a "winner". They identify with the people they vote for. I think there should be a campaign to encourage people to vote for losers. Vote for the loser you think would best represent you. If they are not on the ballot write them in. But the idea that it is virtuous somehow to be a bad citizen is just bullshit.
