Platt said to Steve: > Looks like straw man set up to me. To state or imply that advocates of > global warming have been censored is absurd. dmb says: Oh my god! Platt is either a liar or an idiot and probably both. Here are just a few short articles. I realize that one ought to have compassion for the blind, even when they hurt us and spill our groceries all over the ground, but I just can't muster the strength in this case. Instead, I just don't like the guy. He's the worst person I ever encountered. There are thousands of others as well. Entire books have been written. The phrase, "bush's war on science" will get you more than three thousand hits on google so nobody has to take my word for it. The scientists themselves, the science journals and congress are among those who've complained about this destructive anti-intellectual attitude. And do you know why the republicans are at war with science? Because they love money above all things, including humanity and the earth itself.
