SA,

Writing about my dog barking strangely may not be MOQish enough, but
it's been since late summer.

The lake is not frozen. It gets a thin layer of ice, but then
melts. Actually, last year it never froze. Normally there are a
great number of people ice fishing, on the lake, but not last year
and so far not this year. There has been a man out on the lake in a
beautiful, little red boat. He's been out there when it's been below
freezing, and I saw him once chopping through a thin layer of
ice. He was out there as recently as this past weekend. He and his
red boat make a wonderful image.

She could be sensing animals. There are deer on this island, and
raccoons, skunk, fox, turkey, & etc. Normally she only barks when
people walk by, that's why this is unusual behavior. Maybe there
will be tracks in the snow that will identify her displeasure.

This dog only weighs 9.5 lbs, and has very keen senses. She's only 4
years-old.

Yes, the 'Now' cd is great. I also have 'Golden Voice', and have
ordered 'Churning the Night Sea'.

Only a few inches of snow fell, but it was heavy and has created a
white wonderland. Very beautiful!

Last night I finished my painting, Witness Tree. Signed it.
