Steve:
Can someone explain what "tolerance" means?

It seems like the sort of thing we are all supposed to cheer for but
falls apart when you try to define it. I look forward to hearing your
thoughts...

Ron:
The obvious fallback is the dictionary, lets see what that says.

1. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose
opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from
one's own; freedom from bigotry.
2. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward opinions and
practices that differ from one's own.
3. interest in and concern for ideas, opinions, practices, etc., foreign

me.
I think what you are looking for out of me is a line drawn. My tolerance
Ends for me personally when my human rights are violated. Then as every
beings right, I have the right to self preservation should I choose to
exercise it.
Steve you can challenge peoples beliefs all you want but it seldom
changes their mind. I could beat a creationist with a dinosaur bone

When it comes right down to it enforcing a belief system even if its
A rational one is seldom moral. Everybody has a right to their own
Perceptions, nothing makes one any more correct than another.
You can measure by the MOQ evolutionary level structure of morality
But it only means something to MoQers. It like urinating in a dark suit,
You get a warm feeling but no one else seems to notice.

We can beat the crazies off with a stick on the grounds of self
preservation but to hunt them down and eliminate Them on a MoQ moral
crusade is just as immoral.
Tolerance is better than Dogma. That's what I think. MoQ or otherwise.
