SA: Firstly and lastly a rock is a spov. To view a
rock as an "object made up of matter" is all well, but
according to the moq the reality of this rock is
value. Thus, "object" and "matter" are difficult
terms, and philosophy has not been able to be precise
enough with them, thus, Pirsig comes along and clears
it up and instead of trying to understand "object" and
"matter" it is easy to understand these as simply
static patterns. "Object" and "matter" are not the
ground reality of understanding, values are.
