while Jesus was The Miracle in Christian Theology, the Koran is the
Miracle in Muslim theology.

It was not a book inspired by God and written by men, but it was rather
the Word of God. It came down by fax. Hence the resistance to change.

While Christianity has some wiggle room in interpreting the bible, since
you have a few authors of the bible and a few translations, Islam is
looking at a text etched in stone. Reformation is going to be very hard.

Well it's like an inflated balloon. You can not put the smallest hole in
it whatsoever, because you would be saying God was wrong here or there.
One way around that is to use time as the separator and say: "well, this
was written for people living there back when, and we are living here and
now" and go on with life.

But then again, you bring up the point of the masses and how they have to
be ruled because simply some choose to stay ignorant and be happy with
little. My arguments ( we have been through this before) is: "fine, let
the Elite run the show as long as there is proper STEWARDSHIP.

Some are born leaders and some are born follower. The more you enlighten
the masses the less tyranny and brute force you have to control them. If
they want full democracy and participation, great. If they don't, and
they are happy with their job and their football game on Sunday, that's
fine too. As fro the stewardship, well since you are the smart and
willing one left in charge, live better than they do but at the same time
be fair and just and not so greedy.

But of course it's a lot easier and cheaper to control the masses through
fear than social programs, that's why the neocons' agenda is alive and
well.
