It would be interesting that if that were to be the case, what we know of
Tibetan Buddhism may not be so anymore and if there were a more universal
manifestation, we cannot rule that out, because there is no telling what
Bodhisattvas do.

What we can tell is that they won't cling to bodies, forms, institutions
that may not be of use anymore, and perhaps move on to more purposeful ones.
In a way, as a result of his exile by the Chinese Communist Party, the 14th
Dalai Lama has done more to teach Buddhism to the West, than any other Dalai
Lama before him. Framed in his proposal is to let us decide if there is a
15th Dalai Lama, but that does not mean the Bodhisattva of Compassion wont
manifest elsewhere  in another form. Thats not our choice to make.
