Hello,
Well, it seems it has come to pass. When I was leaving my last job,
dealing with the troubled teens, I saw then that the place would be in the news
at the latest by this summer unless something drastically would change. It is
now in the news. Girls fighting each other a lot, and now since they've been
having problems keeping staff their hiring process went hectic. They hired
somebody that was recently caught having intimate, maybe sexual relations with
the girls in the unit he worked in, at the very least. The place never
inquired into him not having a driver's license, and apparently he has a record
in other states for doing the same thing. They hire them as quick as possible,
without training, without waiting for the background checks to come in. This
is why this doesn't surprise me. It's going to get worse, unless, as I stated
before, they change something drastically. Also, the rule enforcements are no
longer. They call it "sanctuary".
Thus why the girls are fighting each other more. Nobody is at the place to
stop them from fighting each other. The bullies can keep on being bullies.
They will thrive in this place without somebody leveling the playing field. It
has become a breeding ground for bullies and sneaks. Also, a girl was recently
caught having sexual relations with a boy. She would sneak out of her building
at night (even though staff are supposed to be watching the bedroom hallways),
and sneaking into the boy's building next door (which each building at night is
supposed to be locked too) and having sex with him apparently. They were
recently caught. The problem with this goes deeper. The boy's are in this
facility due to being 'Sexual Offenders'.
I saw this coming over six months ago. I tried to communicate this to so
many people in that place, especially the administration, but like many status
quo places, to use a bit of dmb's paper here, they weren't flexible enough,
thus not free enough to keep up with the events in the field. The art was
ignored - the writing on the wall was ignored.
The End is Nigh,
