Happy to join in the "Nature of Intellectual" thread (should really)
,,, but this is not the place for debates about "isms" .... capital or
social ... people end up having social level debates about what should
be intellectual level issues.
You could say "isms" are social level patterns to most people.
Quite right I'd say. And it is frightening how easily people slips into
social-value bashing when one tries to keep a logical, intellectual level
based discussion. I'm sure I've done it once or twice myself, but I am very
careful not to do so when debating key issues regarding politics.
Anyway, I welcome your input on the nature of the intellectual level and
the "Knowledge for knowledge's sake" idea
