[Platt] You show your ignorance by trusting the government. [Arlo] The study included (and is supported) input from the auto industry (where do you think the government got the numbes?). Are you telling me I should distrust the auto industry? Why would they lie? What benefit do they have to falsify these numbers? And, as I said, I trust the study also because (1) there are no contradictory studies out, and (2) it aligns with my experience and (3) I find no reason to distrust the numbers.
I am still waiting for any of the following (1) contradictory studies you can provide, (2) your years of experience in a tire shop telling you otherwise, (3) a reasonable thesis as to why I should distrust the numbers. Also, in your opinion should I distrust the government when it comes to the war? Or should I selectively distrust the government to align with whatever Limbaugh tells me is true? [Platt] Please do. Yours and Obama's belief that proper tire inflation is equivalent to offshore drilling is already the laughing stock of the nation. [Arlo] Thank you. I've already shared it with several students I am working with this summer. The ignorance you display is so absolutely caricaturish few can believe I am not actually making it up. By the way, you've never once given me any information on why Obama's remarks are wrong. How about doing so? What numbers do you counter with? What's really being laughed at, Platt, is the prideful ignorance of those like you who pass this type of bullshit off in lieu of actual substance.
