Sad indeed to lose of of those "nice guys of rock". Strange, back in the 60's no-one in that business would have seen 65 as "an early grave" ... but it seems that way now.

I watched Scorcese's Rolling Stones rockumentary a couple of weeks ago, and when you see these guys, Keith Richards for example, you think of how unpredictable performing at this age once was, and how the lifestyle would ensure they never got to the indignity of testing out the theory. Still chain smoking, Keith with Ronnie made such a wonderful couple of "nice guys" doing what they have fun doing together, like I never would have believed. Growing old gracefully, aging like wine; Too late to die young now.
