Hello Mel,

Question: Was this a 'hard mapping' or 'parallel contrast' ?
ie: Quality = overlap, overlap = self, ergo Quality = self (hard map)
or was this to say that self is empty and only meaningful through
quality? (parallel contrast)

or, of course, something else entirely...

Ron:
Parallel contrast. In light of the current discussion regarding
self, I wanted to stress that value relationships eclipse
identity. Quality value relationships, I feel, are hindered
by false identities. When I say false identity I mean a fictionally
created character, Not a pseudonym. Some would argue there is
little difference between projection and preconception.

You are right in that it is imperative that we seek to
understand, apprehend, attend to Quality in its constant
unfolding.

Ron:
I believe Quality is experience and experience, pattern recognition?
"the act of taking in raw data and taking an action based on the
category of the data".
Therefore to conceptualize patterns as collections of active/passive
entities is misleading. Rather, active/passive is a description of
experience. A pattern is a theme of reoccurring events
which repeat in a predictable manner. The more predictable
the more "static" the pattern is perceived to be.
Perhaps speaking in terms of predictability would
be more accurate to MoQ meaning.

Seriously, though, thanks for the opportunity to
twist myself through the trellis of these words.

thanks--mel

Ron:
It has been a pleasure, I am grateful that you chose
to comment.
Thank you.
