Ian:
How do you think say "democracy" should be organized, courts of law,
"houses" of various kinds. Assuming you and your gun (not you
ersonally Wods) are not going to single-handedly "change the world"
.... these are the kinds of institutions that we have to work with. Who
"should" decide what ?

woods:
I'm not for a world gov't. I'm for decentralization. The U.S. is an
idea is due to it's not a nation evolved from race or ethnicity. It's not
biologically based in how it is to be governed and who can live and
govern in the U.S.
To make this more generalized to pull this away from just speaking
about the U.S. I see the branches of the U.S. gov't being good ideas.
What dedecant about the U.S. is anybody that has the guts to even
try to follow the Constitution or Bill of Rights will not lead the U.S. back
to those basic roots and implement them. That's my point. The U.S.
doesn't follow the Constitution or the Bill of Rights so a good change
would be for the gov't to actually follow them.
So all those institutions outlined in the U.S. constitution, Congress
how many representatives there can be, how many senators, the judges
etc... are all written down in the Constitution. It's already here for me
Ian. Don't think we (the U.S.) need to reinvent a new goverance. It's more
about guts, bravery, and an intellect that understands what's already here
when it comes to goverance. You know in the U.S. the Bill of Rights and
the Constitution are not taught to be understood in most schools in the U.S.
Even if you go to college you can get a degree without ever actually knowing
the basic foundation of the U.S. and thus, it comes back full circle to the
U.S. is an idea. An idea not taught hardly, and I would doubt in any detail.
Now since you like goverance, maybe you can say why you like it and what
you think governance ought to be like. Maybe the country you live in doesn't
have a good governance idea, like the U.S., so your searching for one? Don't
know. It would be helpful to know why governance is such a pursuit for
you. Something I can work with would help. You can see why it's not
something I need to develop from the ground level. The U.S. has a
governing system already. You see?
