Ron:
To intellectualize can be to reason intuitivly, that is,In action,
reasoning involves a conscious attempt to discover what is true and what is
best.-wiki

Andre:

Hi Ron, we are on the same wave lenght. The thing that bothers me about
Bodvar's approach is that yo do not need the SOL to get to MoQ and intellect
IS NOT reason.

With the greatest respect to Bodvar I cannot accept these premisses. I have
tried, as best as I can, to explain my reasoning in previous posts and will
not bore you with the same in different words.

Ron:
Well, SOL is usefull in a way as it serves as a step in the process of
realization.
As you may have noticed, clinging to this notion asserts a sort of
elitism.
Physicists have been utilizing an SOL if you will, since the beginning
of the twentieth century. The distinction between the two is that
modern physics takes more of an MoQ (lila) position, although
it has not been considered to even call this a new type of metaphysic
by this esoteric community but an extension of a known body of
knowledge explained in a greater clarity.
In a book I am currently reading "Dreams of a final theory"
by Steven Weinberg, he explains how physicists use a developed
sense of aestetic to formulate and choose the calculations that have
the greatest possiblity of being verified, he says that these calculations,
more often than not, have a beauty of simplicity, an economy of form
that physicists know  when they see it. He was talking about truth
derrived from Quality through observation. That truth is a kind of samness
with the observation of the process of nature, when calculations exhibit the
kind of
simplistic rigity in form as is observed in nature, that formula is often
a "true" one and yields verifyable predictions in phenomena.
So Science had already beaten Bo to the punch when he was still a lad.

What Pirsig brings to the table is the social impact of this. Both of his books
deals
with sociatial perception and ills and offers a way to solve them.

Because traditional Philosophy is steeped in the locus of truth defined socially
(an assertion that will be denied) per traditional "universals" of objective
reason,
MoQ morality is irrational, absurd and vauge, just read the reviews of Lila
on the MoQ.org home page.

This is why Bo sees it as so absurd and interprets me as phasing in and out of
nonsense and logical reason.
