Mel,

I love the sound of it, but sadly I do not know the Spanish language. I am a dum-dum American who only speaks one language: American-English. What you've written here intuitively sounds provocative and lovely.

Marsha,

I find it interesting the inadvertent(?) wisdom
implied in the frequent Spanish language usage of
the same word for story and for history: historia.

I know there are other words for story, for instance
cuento, but historia leaves an interesting ambiguity.

thanks--mel
