Hi Ian, I wish I knew more about the issues. I keep trying to find things to read. The trick is to find something that I can understand.
The difference seems to me to be about grounding ourselves in experience. Rorty sees Experience and Reality as just more Enlightenment replacement-gods like Reason and Truth. I'm not sure if the way I like to talk about experience is of the Experience variety that Rorty doesn't like.
