Nice twist of history through the 
evolution of myth.  Remember though,
that the use of language in myth
is more iconic and semiotic than
simply the creation of analogy.

It is why we are so often tripped up
in discussions from the pov of belief  
by one person and from a pov of 
knowledge, pholosophy or history
from another.  We're using different
language style.

(I often don't catch it until after I hit
'send'.)
