WillBlake2,

I would love to hear more about such a speciality.

Hi Marsha,
Thanks for the interest.  A number of years ago, I received the tag of PhD in
the biological sciences (specifically, Biotechnology) from Imperial College in
London.  As with any such label, it is just a tool which has allowed me to be
viewed as one who can contribute to such endeavors.  I have found that amongst
my colleagues, myself included, that it is easy to fall in a self-limiting
notion that the reality depicted by such science is complete within itself.
That to which we ascribe the subjective label as measurable, with current
means, can become all that there is.  There is much more which is not
immediately measurable, or is immeasurable.  Take for example our senses.  They
are limited within a very narrow range; our vision covers only a very narrow
gap of wavelengths.  Indeed, the information that we can gather to create our
worldview with our simple brains is limiting.  Increasing the number of labels,
as is done in science expands the detail of this limited view, but no more.

Applying current scientific methods to concepts such as "synchronicity", or
other possibilities, can also be limiting, but may be useful for communication
purposes.  This is very apparent in the areas of quantum mechanics.  The
language of mathematics is abstract, however, is accepted as real; it is simply
useful in creating the sense of meaning and order.  So long as I keep that in
mind, my humility allows me to perhaps expand beyond that.  All that we "know"
through science will change as it has done during this short period.

Glad to see you are keeping up with the deceptive reality being created by
politicians in my adopted country, the USA.

Cheers,

Mark
