Hi Mark, That is the psychological essence of "game" - guessing the game of "others" whilst being concerned about how "they" interpret what you reveal about "your" game. The game of life.
Of course playing (recreational) games is different - rehearsals and scene settings for the real living thing. The distinction between game-playing and game-living can be quite blurred, but the root of recreation is no coincidence - re/create.
