I don't "ignore" anything Marsha ... I try to use the "awareness" you speak of, to make choices about what is good. And it tells me that definitions are double-edged, that on balance, in many contexts, definitions are not good. That seems like a pretty good "rule" to me - one not to be ignored ;-)
