[Krimel]
"Ultimate reality" is a meaningless concept. Perhaps that is what attracts
you
to it. It can mean whatever you like.

[Arlo]
If there is an Ultimate Reality, is there a Penultimate Reality... What
about
an Antepenultimate Reality? (Insert Monty Python Last But One Supper joke)
But
here here, its truly just an emotive word, used to evoke "God" without
saying
"God".

I wouldn't even know what "being attracted to Ultimate Reality" is. I am
attracted to Scarlett Johansson, does that count? Of course, if you recall,
Ham
the "Philosopher" postulated that "Essence" created us inferior "negated
microcosms" so that it would have something that would adore it. No wonder
then
that Ham feels we should be attracted to this pitifully ego-driven but
philosophically vapid concept.

[Krimel]
Actually the concept of God makes some sense to me, as does the attraction
of Scarlett Johansson. Both of them are at least honest. For Ham we are
"negates" tricked into the illusion of free will. The past and future are
fixed and constant. We in our ignorance are just going through the motions.
And yet he claims we are nihilists. I would say Essentialists or rather the
Essentialist (I don't think the messiah are rounded up his first convert
yet) makes us look like cockeyed optimists.
