krimel....i guess it is painful to bear the brunt of dave's explanations...but his somewhat sardonic humour is probably what keeps him sane - explaining over and over and over again. Ant hasn't said much since I have been here and Pirsig has said nothing at all. But I don't think you and Dave at least are doing Pirsig any get service by forthrightly insisting that he belongs in the New Age section of the bookstore. I think that just marginalizes what has the potential to be a TOE. Platt, I think just parrots someone else's point up view which I guess is proselytizing for someone else. But I just enjoy writing and this place opens my writer's block. In the meantime your emotional rants are creative and entertaining and I mean and a very positive way, but they are not very well thought out.
