Guess you missed the part in Lila where Pirsig talks about socialism vs. free markets. He also talks about human rights and why SOM intellectuals are incapable of governing properly (they lack morals). I could go on. But the most relevant premise of the MOQ supporting Nick's thesis is the nature of DQ: "It contains no pattern of fixed rewards and punishments. Its only perceived good is freedom and its only perceived evil is static quality itself-any pattern of one-sided fixed values that tries to contain and kill the ongoing free force of life."
