"Right-wing" or "ultraconservative" locates a position along a spectrum
that has "left-wing" or "ultraliberal" at the other end, according to some
principle of categorization (e.g., private vs. government).
"Reactionary" means "reacting against current trends". For instance,
in regard to school vouchers, generally liberals are reactionary.
