Ham to Marsha: Pirsig postulated that pure Quality (Value) is "pre-intellectual experience." This is epistemologically incorrect. We don't "experience" Value, we "sense" it.
Andre: Ham, I don't know why I bother with you sometimes but you give passes that are just dying to be headed in. The experience of Quality is not just biological, we sense it in other ways as well. You want a logical ontology, epistemology and ontogeny. this is the cry from a SOM point of view. The MoQ cannot and will not give you such assurances. DQ/SQ is the stuff. I have been on this forum for nearly two years and, though not claiming to know everything, I have realised that conventional, logical, rational ideas giving rise to such conceptions as intellect, ontology and epistemology are outdated and not accepted within the MoQ framework. Suppose Poincarre would answer your question: how do you know that? and he would answer...it was intuition...which later took me hours and hours to work out in a (scientifically acceptable) framework. Einstein did the same! The basis of this 'knowing' is something you will not accept. Einstein said that the 'imagination' is the stuff that gives rise to advances in science. How can you logically explain this. You cannot. Get out of your cage, stop being an agent and live!!
