[Platt]
No point in answering a fatuous argument based on a false accusation
[Arlo]
Its neither, and you know it.
You said that Mother Theresa was acting "selfishly" and "egoisticly"
because her acts "filled her heart with joy".
By this same token, if Jesus' act of saving mankind "filled his heart
with joy", then he acted "selfishly" and "egoisticly".
Plain and simple.
Why do you prefer evasion from simply admitting you are wrong. Oh
wait, because your argument is tied to the apologist justification
for selfishness but your political whorishness makes you a pussy to
say anything against the Christians.
So, either Jesus acted selflessly and thus altruism is not "selfish"
nor "egoistic" (MY belief)... or because all acts that bring one
"joy" are by definition "selfish" and "egoistic", then Jesus was a
selfish and egoistic (YOUR argument).
You can keep evading this all you want, Platt, but every time you do
another angel dies... Shame, shame, shame...
[Platt]
As Mary recently wrote and I agree, "Everything I believe is designed
to make me feel better (or, ok, to be really honest, superior) in
some way or another."
[Arlo]
Wow. Now you are saying that everything Jesus believed was designed
to make him feel better (or, ok, to be honest, superior).
Man, so much Christian bashing, and right at the time of their most
lovely holiday.
Shame on you.
