When did I say I was a "priest"? I'm not castigating you for
blasphemy, I'm pointing out the sophomoric apologist argument you
introduced to justify "selfishness". But, it takes only empathy (what
most other humans have, Platt) to chastize you for calling their
saviour "selfish" and "egoistic" during their most celebrated
holiday... and then to say that "everything Jesus believed was
designed to make him feel better (or, ok, to be honest, superior)"!!!
You are a bad man, Platt. Shame on you. You close all your posts with
"but I could be wrong", but yet you go to such great lengths of
evasion, distortion and name-calling to avoid fessing up.
Fess up to your idiotic apologist argument for "selfishness" and stop
insulting Jesus. You can keep calling me all the name you want, it
just makes your evasions that much more profound.

So, either Jesus acted selflessly and thus altruism is not "selfish"
nor "egoistic" (MY belief)... or because all acts that bring one
"joy" are by definition "selfish" and "egoistic", then Jesus was a
selfish and egoistic (YOUR argument).
