Actually, I've got a hypothesis about web database programming based upon empirical evidence - formulate an idea of what you need, do a search on its existence, and if its not available, just wait 18 months and somebody will come up with one. DO NOT make the mistake of actually doing the creative work of designing and debugging the thing you want because guaranteed as soon as it's ready for the world, somebody else will have done it and probably much better than yours.
