claims (how we know) with ontological claims (what there is). To complicate 
matters, for a radical empiricist experience is reality. That's all you get as 
far as an ontology goes. In radical empiricism the traditional categories like 
mind and matter are no longer taken as ontological realities but simply 
concepts drawn from experience, as was explained in the quote you posted from
