You've pinpointed the essence of the MOQ that the philosophologists either
ignore or haven't a clue.

This is very distortive rhetoric. "Philosophology", as used by Pirsig, had to
do with a type of "philo-criticism" rather than "philo-creation". It had
NOTHING to do with any "essence of the MOQ" or S/O thinking. 

But since Pirsig supports and endorses the academic work of Ant and DMB, I'd
say that alone negates your claim that they "haven't got a clue" about the
"essence of the MOQ".
