This misses the point. Vast amounts of what he said was of very low
quality. Marx was a first-rate sociologist; a second-rate economist;
a third-rate philosopher & a fourth-rate historian.

I think much of what Marx said continues to evidence very
high-quality thinking. But he underestimated some things, and
overestimated others. But just like Reagan, some people think he was
a visionary, while others think he was a buffoon.
