I don't think of Quality as higher than "what we value".  I look at "what we
value" as Quality.

Premises and concepts can only arise if they are valued.  They only persist
if valued.

Thus, valuation itself is presupposed by premises and concepts.  "Valuation
itself" is  Quality.

By my metaphysical formulations and understandings, existence is experience.
 Experience is a triadic relation  of self/other/valuation.

Is where I'm at in my thinking.  Pirsig makes the claim that valuation
ontologically precedes self/other realization and that makes sense to me.

Ham makes the claim that valuation is only realized by a self/other
dichotomy - which also makes sense to me.

I have a very promiscuous philosophy on my hands, but I'll get her to settle
down someday.
