It really is a bit of foolishness for me to pursue this path. By the time I finish I will be just short of retirement age so it's not a great career move. What I am shooting for is an environment that forces me to write and to write in a serious way and gives me the time to do so. In a past life I was a newspaper reporter and after about five years of writing on a deadline every day about things I may or may not actually give a crap about, I developed severe writers block. Actually it was more like a 20 year aversion to writing at all. The past years of involvement in this forum have really helped me get past that, well I hope it has anyway.
