Come on guys - this is a forum for those of an intellectual disposition so provocative comments and/or name calling don't really get us too far do they? It just starts up a flame session and everyone gets a bit of a singeing. And no Platt, I'm not going to berate you for replying in kind. It wouldn't be fair. But I can also see why Krim said what he did and I'm sure you can too. It would just be better if we were all a bit less trigger-happy on both the insults and the provocative remarks so do me a favour all of you and count to 10 before you fire off a volley of insults or think carefully as to why you may think argumentation through provocation is the way to go.
Cos to be honest, neither of them are the hallmarks of intellect.

No, but one of the few positions that most of the people who have had these
kinds of exchanges with you over the years share is that you are.

I see. You disagree with me on an issue. You disagree with Pirsig on the same
issue. I'm an idiot, but Pirsig isn't. Makes you sound like a bonehead.

Note to Horse: I thought name-calling was to be avoided. Am I not permitted to
respond in kind?
