Hi Adrian,
> My question is how can patterns be stable and yet migrate toward Dynamic > Quality at the same time? A pattern can endure for a time and is stable in the sense that it does persist. Yet patterns are replaced by new often better more dynamic patterns. That is what is meant by evolution. Patterns don't change any more than individuals in biological evolution are changing. The concept of pattern is opposed to change. "Static" pattern is redundant. To say something is a pattern is to point out something that is static or unchanging at least for a time. Change occurs as patterns replace other patterns.
