Platt (for the millionth time)quoting Pirsig:

"What makes the free-enterprise system superior is that the socialists, reasoning intelligently and objectively, have inadvertently closed the door to Dynamic Quality in the buying and selling of things." (Lila, 17)

Andre:
I think nobody is disputing this observation and insight Platt, an insight the
conservatives never even thought of, but within the context of the MOQ, what
point are you trying to make, what revelations do you want to share with us by
constantly referring to this quote? Because, on its own, it is rather
meaningless.

Furthermore, since Mr. Pirsig suggested that the MOQ is also provisional,
consider that 'the socialists' have OPENED the door to DQ over the past 25
years. I mean, the world is changing you know?
Values shift, values get adopted and rejected and in this sense the dominant
(socialist) ideology may well turn out to be a more 'official' static
representation than the values which are actually realized in practice and
experienced in, by and through its people.

Enlighten us Platt.
