Understood (me too) - walking the path.
Never been to the Scilly's I'm afraid, but did spend some time around
Helford, Helston and Falmouth (and the canals on the Holland / Belgium
border, and Tananger nr Stavanger, Norway, as well as a little north
of Frillesas, Sweden too. Pure coincidence in all these four cases,
both before as well as after I'd become aware of Pirsig - something
that spooked me when I eventually traced his route.)
