More than curiosity. An attempt to connect with the man and his ideas - to better understand "where he was coming from" in his writing, is the way I've put it before, particularly as he has the habit of using the journey and locations as metaphorical to his narrative.
And as I've also written, that circle / journey / chapter is closed for me. (Though in fact, as I said, finding myself at most of the locations was pure coincidence anyway.)
