 Hi Mark,

I do remember you mentioning Canaletto. His paintings are beautiful.
It is wonderful that you have an original Arntzenius, and the story of
how it came into your grandparents ownership is very interesting.
Vachagan Narazyan is the name of the artist whose painting I bought.
His paintings can be found on the Internet. I am still pleased that I
bought it because it still intrigues me. I own other oil paintings that my
husband bought in Spain - landscapes, seascapes and a still life, but
the Narazyan is special. It "speaks to me". Hahahaha...

Speaking of the baby boomers and our hopes and dreams, I recently
watched a Netflix stream of 'PBS American Experience: LBJ.' Although
I was too young to vote, I was hoping for a Goldwater victory. (Sad, huh?
My family, of course, were Democrats.) The program was a shock, and
very, very sad. There was a man with BIG hopes and dreams. Very,
very sad... Taking another look at Viet Nam and all those American boys
and Vietnamese people killed, and thinking about the U.S. position in the
MiddleEast today, had me totally depressed. Sure, I've read the GITA, but
still......
