I have not heard of CTMU or of Langan, and if he is that smart, then he
should do a better job at promoting himself.
He has largely checked out. Pulled something of an Ayn Rand shrug. He was a
bouncer in a bar for a while before becoming famous.
He's had a troubled life - was an abused kid.
A lot of his websites are out of date.
I've not seen any Sidis-like demonstrations of virtuosity from him, but I
trust he has the horsepower.
By the way, lots is up about Sidis now. : )

P.S. Any news about the idea of ZAMM being made into a movie? I have an idea
of how it could be made, if it’s an active project. Tangent: wonder if Bob
ever met Alan Watts?
