Hi Mark and all, Pirsig perceived an evolutionary environment. This perception becomes conceptualized as knowledge in Zen and Lila. DQ/SQ! To experience the color purple there must be some marker in experience tied to "purple". This marker identifies the presence of indefinable DQ being conceptualized as "purple".
MOQ is discussed within an evolutionary environment. Are there specific markers for evolutionary levels? My guess the markers betray the presence of indefinable levels in existence, MOQ. Imho "Determinist" is a logical description for levels in evolution in comparison to a "nothingness", creation! The DQ perception of evolution is indefinable, beyond words! You know individuality as different when you experience it tied to levels in evolution. In common parlance sentient individuality is indefinable free will. Morality has metaphysical teeth, evolution in existence! Faith in some indefinable Lawgiver who becomes an interpreter of existence, red or green is equally useful! Knowledge is complicated. Faith has greater complications in DQ/SQ. Be careful! Evolution to levels in existence as a co-arbiter for morality has a more logical base in MOQ, than Faith in the Supreme Being of SOM. 10 commandments flowing from an illogical 1/0 definition is a handful.
