Dan: I am not so much disagreeing with Ron's assessment as I am with you taking the RMP quote out of context. The way I read Ron, he is saying Dynamic Quality CAN be equated with Good. If that is how a person wishes to evaluate it, I don't think they're wrong. Nor do I think they're correct, though. Ron goes on to say "a purely not this, not that, explanation" leans towards a relativistic version of Dynamic Quality, which again I don't think is entirely incorrect. However, any version of Dynamic Quality is a static quality illustration of that which comes before static quality. So I do not believe Ron is entirely correct in his statement, either. Steve: >It > sounds like you are saying that DQ is not any more a positive than it > is a negative. "It's better over there" is also to say "It's worse > over here"? Dan: No. I'm saying better and worse are evaluations made afterwards. Dynamic Quality is not this, not that. It seems better to leap of the hot stove but that isn't what gets one off the stove so quickly. That evaluation comes later along with the oaths. It is a "dim apprehension of we know not what" that gets us off the stove.
