Marsha to Andre:

And pointing to a chapter in LILA does not stand in for actually answering the
question.

Andre:
You say that it is a 'serious' question. Problem is Marsha; I do not take you
seriously. I pointed you to the relevant chapter in LILA. I can point you to
the relevant section in Anthony's PhD who simply concludes that 'it is apparent
that the MOQ is an empiricist theory in the radical tradition'(p 49)a la James'
radical empiricism.

I could have given you a lengthier answer but because with you the past is a
definite guide to the future I anticipated a three word response, or some
Buddhist quote or some ever changing soup you concoct quite regularly.

I wholeheartedly agree with dmb. Your questions are only rhetorical. You are
not interested in an answer. You are not a genuine explorer of the MOQ. You
have Bodvarian tendencies. Which leads me to:

Marsha:
How do I differentiate an intellectual pattern from a social pattern?

Andre:
Yes, back to the Sam Harris thing. I suggest you read a wonderful book on this.
It's written by Robert Pirsig and it's called LILA. Lots of other stuff
available too: dvd's, tapes, papers. I also refer you to Anthony's PhD. I can
suggest the relevant sections but I think you should put in some effort as
well. I say this for the same reasons given above.

You, Lucy, have wrecked your reputation as far as I am concerned.

Marsha:
I bet Bo could answer...

Andre:
I believe Bodvar has a website. Why don't you take all your gear to that one?
He'll give you the answers you want to hear. You are certainly not interested
in Pirsig's or Anthony's for that matter.

No, just stick with Bodvar..and Chalmers...and youtube.
