Hi Steve, I think your point is right on and helps bring this into MoQ focus:

The issue is when they are growing. Growth is usually considered dynamic, but cancer cells do not grow dynamically. They grow statically and by that I mean, they increase in number, contributing to a tumor that increases in size, while doing nothing productive or helpful for the body as a whole. The mind/intellect interpolates growth patterns, and objects when the growth is cancerous rather than productive. The power of capitalism to self-perpetuate and self-aggrandize is THEE problem of the modern age due to the power of technology to manipulate the masses. There are solutions out there. For instance I recently learned of a society where they have zero unemployment, zero homelessness and universal healthcare. It's called the Mondragon Cooperative Corp. and Georgia Kelly says of it in the article I read, "It seems that Mondragon has taken the very best ideas in both capitalism and socialism and created a hybrid that supports people, their ideas, their health, their education, their personal development and their society. Whatever one calls is, it works. And it works better for more people than any other system today."
