Dave,

What percentage of American philosophers would choose as their primary label
that of 'American Pragmatist'? What does 'mainstream' or 'mainstream
American' even mean? And in case you haven't noticed the world has gone
global. The really dynamic thinking in philosophy today, on a global level, is
more in the area of Quantum Philosophy or Quantum Metaphysics, Philosophy of
Mind, Philosophy of Information, and/or Philosophy of Consciousness.

Sigh.
