Hi joe,
If evolution is taken in its scientific sense, it implies the interplay between
the "environment", and the subject evolving. This is known as natural
selection. Using this concept, Quality is presenting itself as the result of
something outside of quality (OQ). If this is the case, then the nature of OA
should be discussed.

If we use the interplay of DQ and sq for presenting evolution, then we should
interpret DQ and sq as two independent phenomenon which interact. Designing an
ontology where DQ becomes sq cannot use this form of "evolution".

If instead, Evolution is used as directional change which is subservient to a
component which provides the arrow for such change (the Good, for example) then
we need to evaluate such component (such as QUALITY). In the second case, we
cannot make Quality subservient to Evolution, and say that Quality follows
evolution, but that Quality creates evolution. As such it can create such
things as a dog's dish and New York.

In this sense, if Quality creates Evolution, it is a metaphysical reality.
Let's not forget that Quality creates metaphysical realities, which puts it
outside of metaphysical realities. That is, of course, until we describe it.
However, such description is also Quality in action, and can be no more unreal
than Quality.

In this way we get to harmonization and balance, outside of and encompassed by
metaphysics.
