Greetings, This seems to be a great course on Human Behavioral Biology. I happen to watch Episode 23. on language and found it fascinating. It is a Stanford University course and the professor, Robert Sapolsky, is lively and interesting. In the Introduction the professor talks about categorical thinking which might easily be seen as patterned thinking. If you have the time, you might consider taking a look, or not.
