Hi Marsha,

Welcome to my world!  Yes it is interesting.

To keep it all in perspective, all these scientific endeavors are temporary 
constructs that are put together.  Science is changing rapidly these days, and 
it is easy to be "out of date".  Everything we think is true today, will be 
seen as extremely ignorant in the future.

However the process itself never changes.  That of painting elaborate pictures 
to represent our experience.
