Hello Marsha -

What did you think of the juxtapose? Obviously we want to shed light on the MOQ, so perhaps WSB is a deliberate hypertrophy of SQ, while Suzuki delightedly swam in DQ.

Did they tell the story of Suzuki teaching in class? "First Noble truth ... life is suffering! Second Noble Truth ... cause of suffering is attachment! Third Noble truth ... oh, I forget. You look it up in book!"

Greetings again Michael,

Thought I'd give Burroughs another go, so I watched 'Destroy All Rational
Thought' which is labeled as an Indie documentary on William Burroughs and
Brion Gysin, two beat poets. Fortunately, or unfortunately, or both, or
neither, the next day I watched the documentary 'A Zen Life: D. T. Suzuki'.
Interesting juxtaposition.
